Hiring HVAC Technicians & Installers

We are a Placerville-based HVAC & Solar Company, established in 1972 serving the residential and light commercial markets in El Dorado County - Placerville, El Dorado Hills, Pollock Pines, and surrounding areas. We are looking for highly skilled HVAC Technicians with experience in residential & light commercial HVAC equipment!
Qualifications for Employment:
- Must provide his or her own tools and reliable transportation
- Valid drivers License with a clean record
- 5 years of practical residential & commercial HVAC trouble-shooting and repair experience
- An EPA Type 2 or Universal Certification
- Successful work history
- NATE certification is a plus
- Self-motivated, responsive, flexible, and ambitious
- Basic Computer Skills
- Articulate and organized, with great communication skills and exceptional people skills
- Have a Good/Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Be able to handle direction and coaching from those training you
- Ability to work well independently and with others
- Not be afraid to get dirty!
- While preforming job duties you must have the capability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry to different locations when needed. Ability to stand, walk and work in confined spaces, such as attics, basements and crawl spaces, for the majority of the job. Able to continually climb ladders and stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
Your success comes from being shown how to do the job right and by being shown how to make clients delighted with your work. You will be trained on:
- Performing professional tune-up procedures
- Comfort concern diagnosis
- Airflow and duct modification and installation, air flow characteristics
- Home Performance testing and measuring
- Ductwork modification and installation, air flow characteristics
The function of this position is to:
- Service, repair and or propose replacement of warm air furnaces, air conditioners, duct distribution systems, water heaters and related piping and electrical.
- Assist the consumer in making a buying decision related to the HVAC equipment.
- Be able to service and startup equipment, and adjust to the manufacturers and job specification.
- Be able to troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise that would keep the equipment from functioning properly.
- Communicate to the consumer on the proper operation and owner’s maintenance of the installed equipment. Answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions to the homeowner.
- Perform required documentation for each call, recording recommendations, repairs, accurate readings and observations. Have client sign necessary paper work and collect payments as directed.
